My Week of Work:
Monday 8th June - Friday 12th June 2020
The Careers and Enterprise Company (CEC) are currently working collaboratively with the Oak National Academy www.thenational.academy to provide a “My Week of Work” range of lesson-based activities. These will include information from sectors and workplaces, plus typical work type projects.
The lessons will run from the Oak online learning platform every day during week commencing 8th June 2020, with four lessons per day.
Alongside the Oak lessons, Learn Live www.learnliveuk.com will be hosting a series of “live” Q & A sessions with employers all week. These sessions will run from 10 – 2pm every day and will feature arrange of employers from different sectors each day.
Show My Homework
Teachers will be putting work on here for students to access from home. All students should have logged in previously. Information on how to log in, submit work and use other features on Show My Homework can be found on our Show My Homework Student Guide by clicking the link above. If you are still having problems accessing Show My Homework after reading our guide, please email email@example.com stating Student's Name, Registration Group, Date of Birth and details of the issue and someone will get back to you as soon as possible.
We appreciate that many people will find the coming months very challenging. If we were in school together at a time like this, we would be drawing on lessons from our faith to help us through. St. Matthew's Church have created a Youtube channel which includes some thoughts and reflections which some members of the school community may find useful at this time. Youtube link

Borrow Box Just install the free App, and start to type Walsall in the ‘library’ box. It comes up with ‘Walsall Library Service’. Then you just log in with your Library Card number and PIN. This service is free for all members of Walsall Libraries. If you have any issues accessing services please contact your local library for assistance.

Students may find this period of uncertainty distressing, where ever possible we will strive to support them and their families during this time. Students can look after their mental wellbeing by participating in exercise where possible (yoga, walking, dancing), ensuring they reach out to people if needed and taking time out to relax.
