A-Level Geography Field Trip to North Wales.

September 23, 2025

Last week, 8 brave A-Level Geographers fought against the gale force winds on Talacre and Rhyl beaches in North Wales.

They were collecting vital information for their Non-Examined Assessments in which they had chosen our fieldwork location. They all worked extremely hard and showed so much resilience in less-than-ideal conditions on the two beaches. A hardy bunch our Geographers. Next up is Cannock Chase for some investigations into ecosystems in our local area.

Rights of the Child were promoted by giving ‘Access to Education’ (Right 28) on location and the ‘Aims of Education’ (Right 29) were supported by developing pupil talents and abilities during this field trip.

Thank you to Mr Homer in organising and overseeing this educational visit, we hope you have a more pleasant day weather-wise on your next trip!
