Form Reps Raise Donations for SAAM April 2025

May 2, 2025

Student Form Reps have had a great response to their call for donations with the following having been collected:

  • 20 items of dental care
  • 11 bottles of shampoo / conditioner
  • 17 deodorants + soaps packs
  • 5 packs of face masks

and lots more, totalling just over 70 items!

These donations have been gratefully received by the head office of the Black Country Women’s Aid. These will be distributed to women in need. Well done to all who have donated.

On the last day of the awareness month, April 30th, staff wore something blue and we created the ‘Wall of Hope’ where over 50 messages of hope and inspiration have been displayed. These messages have been written by our pupils and have raised the awareness of this very important issue.

Sexual Assault Awareness Month is a time to raise awareness and stand in solidarity to those who have experienced domestic abuse, forced marriage, honour-based violence, stalking, coercion and harassment.

Thank you to Miss Smith for helping our pupils with this initiative.

As a Rights Respecting School there are so many Rights that can be impacted by sexual assault so this awareness month we identify primarily with Right 3 (Best Interests of the Child) that when adults make decisions they should think about how their decisions will affect children.
