
Year 10s achieve joint 3rd place at the regional finals of The King’s Trust Enterprise Challenge, at Edgbaston Priory Club.
We were one of only 4 schools at the event from around the West Midlands region.Our team had to design and develop a business plan and pitch it to a prestigious judging panel including Claire Daniel the CEO Edgbaston Priory Club, Sarah Ann Moore Chair of Edgbaston Priory Club, Rufus Bowen Reginal Director The Watches of Switzerland Group, Maxine Laceby Co-Founder Absolut Collagen, Elizabeth Foster DL Deputy Lieutenant West Midlands and Kwame Boateng Founder of Ingrained Oil.The pupils had a tour of the clubs and grounds, then had some time to practice their pitch before lunch. Then on to the main event in the afternoon, Blue Coat presented first and set the bar high. After all, 4 schools had delivered their pitches, the judges went off to deliberate.
