Happy Vaisakhi!

April 14, 2026

To all our pupils, staff and families who are celebrating- we wish you a joyous Vaisakhi filled with happiness and prosperity.

Vaisakhi, also know as Baisakhi, marks the start of the Punjabi and Sikh New Year. This is one of the most prominent festivals celebrated by the Sikh community as it not only marks the harvesting of crops signifying the values of unity, hard work and resilience but it also has deep spiritual meaning as it commemorates the historic moment in 1699 when Guru Gobind Singh Ji established the Khalsa Panth.
